All information and data received by our company from a client while being engaged in certification or audit activities will be treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party without the prior written consent from the client.
This applies to all employees and subcontractors of our company with respect to any information presented by the client or discovered by our staff (e.g., auditors and/or technical experts); except for the information which is required to be disclosed in the published lists of certification approvals or which is required by an appropriate Accreditation Body.
Where the law requires information to be disclosed to the third party, the client will be informed of the information provided, as permitted by the law.
In order to maintain impartiality, integrity and guarantee the independence of certification activities, we hereby make the following declarations:
We fully understand the importance of impartiality in carrying out its management system certification activities. Our structure, policies and procedures are designed to manage any conflict of interest and to ensure the objectivity of our management system certification activities.
Our management conducts risk assessment annually on impartiality and potential conflict of interest relating to management system certification business. These risk assessments and related management actions are reviewed by an independent impartiality committee, which is made up of members from our significant stakeholders.
Conflict of Interest and objectivity is further covered through regular training and monitoring to ensure all management system certification or audit activities are conducted in an independent and impartial manner.
The above statements declare our standpoint of impartiality, integrity and independence. All employees of our company should implement strictly and we welcome supervision from the society.
